What seems to go unnoticed by so many is the amount of hours and days some of us go through to pull off different events around the country and the globe. In the old days, when you had to set up for a trade show, it was relative,y simple. There were fold out tables, posters and samples. In the tech world of today, you'd better have a lot more to represent your company than that. If you don't you'll be looked upon as a dinosaur. If it weren't for the practically heroic performance of the new event management software, I'd be sleeping with the dinosaurs.
You keep bouncing around from firm to firm. You put your faith in radio and TV ads. You take suggestions from friends and relatives. You hope. You get disappointed over and over again. It's time you stopped looking for short cuts and do some actual due diligence and get a solid hold on what has to be done and who can do it right. I am willing to bet a week's salary that all roads will lead you directly to SEO Toronto. I know this because I was on the same wild goose chase you were on for a long time. Finally I said YES to this fine company.
We have all been to at least three or four wedding receptions that could have easily been the exact same one we were at before. The themes people utilize for wedding decorations are all too often replicas we have seen over and over again. My suggestion is, if you are planning a wedding, go to Weddingstar on line and look at hundreds of ideas you probably would never have conjured up by yourself. They will also let you browse through thousands of ideas for favors, garters and many other wedding related items.
There are days that just don't start out right and they give you the feeling that no matter what you do about it, you should have stayed in bed. That's what I felt like last Saturday when I awoke to an odor of gas in my apartment. My first thought was how lucky I was to awaken and not die breathing these fumes. As it turned out it was a passing truck of some street coating material and there was no gas leak. I forced myself to get dressed and attend a neighbors wedding. I almost didn't go. Then I witnessed this blessed unity ceremony at the altar and all was right with the world, once again.
These days with the different approaches occurring at weddings are really touching to me. With hopeful young couples starting their journey together symbolizing them with soulful sand ceremony and candle unity ceremony, I always have something purely romantic to look forward to at the previously mundane ceremonies. Sometimes change is the best way to enjoy what was once bordering boredom. I can only hope that these newly weds find several additional ways to promote new things in their lives, so as to perpetuate their marriage.
Goodbye boring. Hello super interesting. That's the way I feel about all these fabulous new wedding cake toppers. The bland standing bride and groom looking so alienated atop the tiered cake have decided to make a statement as opposed to being run of the mill bystanders. Now you just don't know what to expect when you see the cake displayed in the reception hall. Previously, very few even paid attention to the cake.Recently, I have been hearing guests buzzing about what they thought the topper might be. It adds a whole new dimension to the wedding celebration.
It was definitely another case proving that less could most certainly be more. I have been to all too many affairs, mostly weddings, that are put on more as a competition than focusing on the subject at hand. Wedding decorations are sometimes so incredibly garish that the sentiment of the moment is entirely overshadowed and lost. This is why I so thoroughly enjoyed the experience at my wife's nephew's wedding last week. The subtle and peaceful decor offered a relaxing yet extremely emotional impression on us as well, I am sure, all the other guests.
I remember the first time I saw the use of personalized napkins. I thought to myself that they were really nifty. It was pretty cool to see that something as common as a napkin was treated in such a way as to make every facet of the wedding be special. I really appreciate when people go the extra mile. It says something about what they think of others and how everything in life has value. They also had beautifully engraved wedding flutes that stood out and reinforced my feeling of appreciation of there extended efforts.
If there is one memento from our long ago wedding that my wife and I treasure more than any other, it is our wedding guest book. Nothing comes close to the significance contained in those pages. Til this day, we often take it off the bookshelf and sit back with a glass of wine and reminisce over the friends and family who lovingly signed those pages. The funny thing is that mo matter how many times we read those names, we always find one or two that we can't recall being at the reception. I can't attest that we aren't having senior members since people used to crash weddings in those days.
I would have to say that I have been to at least three different wedding receptions where the guests wound up rolling on the floors in very destructive melees. In each case the brawl began during or right after the ceremonial peeling off of the wedding garters. Somehow rather descriptive comments arose regarding the location of the garters that didn't sit well with the family members of the bride. I must say the combination of alcoholic beverages and suggestive rituals perform a perfect storm for controversy. Fortunately, at each instance I kept my presence at a safe distance.
I always considered wedding favors to be more of an annoyance than a gift. Admittedly, I definitely can be annoying myself. I am trying to say that the items usually are rather useless but you have to be seen leaving the reception with them or you appear to , what you really are, ungrateful. The last wedding I attended, however, went a long way in changing my position on the favors. They were these very attractive and useful wine corkers that I happen to have a real need for. Somehow (please don't ask) I got home and found four of them in my jacket pocket in lieu of the two I was supposed to have.
I certainly recall when they first appeared on the seen. I also recall that I immediately thought the use of disposable wedding cameras was the best idea I had ever seen used at a reception. The other thing I remember is that quite a few guests didn't know they were supposed to leave the cameras at the table to be collected by the new couple. Since it was a good friend's wedding I was recruited to contact all the guests to help retrieve the cameras. Because of my efforts, I was permitted to sit in on the viewing after the film was developed. I can't remember having more fun.
I go far enough back to remember when the wedding ceremonies were the same time after time. I probably witnessed nothing distinctive at the altar for at least thirty years. It is a breath of fresh air to see the thought and creativity put into the matrimonial sequence these days. From the unity candle ceremony to the colorful sand ceremony, the sacrament appears to have so much more sentiment and heartfelt meaning. I live individuality as opposed to the robotic path these weddings used to be like. New is good, old gets old.
I am a sucker for innovation. As soon as some new idea appears on the market, I'm waving my credit card after it. I probably could be diagnosed with some disorder or other. To let you know how bad it is becoming, I actually ordered these new wedding favor bags on line. The weird thing is that I am not planning a wedding. I guess when they arrive I'll have to wait for a friend or relative to send me a wedding invitation and I'll offer the bags to them. Then again, what if the bags don't coincide with the theme of the wedding? In any case, they really are quaint.
What could be cooler than having your guests enjoy a balmy evening on a tropical beach with island music in the air and the inspiration of the sound of gently rolling waves? Then you present them with sea shell place settings and colorful beach bags and other beach wedding favors. The perfect evening is one for all to remember, especially the bride and groom. How fortunate are we to have a source for exotic things like these favors? The same company offers an endless assortment wedding items that would challenge the most active of imaginations.
I often wonder how many wedding invitations are ordered and never used. I also had the experience of actually receiving a wedding invitation on a Tuesday and the wedding was called off on Thursday of the same week. It sets you off to trying to decipher what could have changed the mind of one or the other to make such a drastic decision. I think about the parents and families of the couple and the complications that follow. The only saving grace would be if they could at least recover the deposits for the church, the reception hall, the flowers etc. I know there had to be some heavy duty emotions involved.
If you ever want to see someone in bliss, keep you eyes on one of the most endearing things about a wedding. I am alluding to the one and only flower girl. Usually this sweet young lady is anywhere from four to eight years old and simply feels like she's walking on air as she floats down the aisle of the chapel. This is one of the many reasons Weddingstar takes great pride in the array of flower girl baskets. As one of their proudest product lines they are aware of the great pleasure this tradition represents. All you need do is see the gleam in the eyes of all the guests as they take in the sweetness of the occasion.
Very often it is nice to see that extra loving touch from people who like to share their good feelings and good fortune. This was what it felt like when the family of the bride and groom at the recent reception I was at conveyed when they took the care to provide lovely wedding favor boxes for the guests. It proves that it doesn't take an enormous effort to show appreciation and common good will. It is gestures of this sort that exemplify the quality of humanity that is all too often forgotten or hidden. That special human gift of generosity is something we all have but sometimes forget to express.
Here we go again. It wasn't good enough to give out favors at your wedding by leaving them at each seat around the table. Now we are feeling the peer pressure to have decorative and stylish wedding favor containers It is isn't as if I don't know that the purpose of every manufacturer and dealer to not only fill the needs of the consumer but to actually create needs. This theory was definitely supported by the cell phone industry creating a product into being a critical necessity in today's society. I couldn't imagine an existence without a cell phone. Now the apps are in the stage of making themselves must haves.
It seems that the on going competition to be different is healthy and strong in the wedding reception arena. We are now getting down to the nitty-gritty in finding totally unique wedding favors. From cake toppers to decorations to personalized napkins, I can give you a great secret that will reduce all of your searching and digging for an outrageous and endless selection for all these goodies. Weddingstar, the industry star of wedding needs is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when it comes to variety and fortunately price. You can cut your exploring time to a fraction of what you thought you were facing.
I am noticing that the last couple of decades have seen our nation become more and more influenced by other nations, especially European nations, in the area of wine consumption. This is evidenced by the emergence of hundreds of large beverage stores everywhere you look. I even attended a wedding recently that used decorative cork stoppers and etched glass coasters as wine wedding favors. One thing you can always count on is that there will always be the creative marketers out there that will provide us with products to keep up with the trends.
It will prove to be the best single thing that could possibly happen for the struggling economy if the current trend of credit loosening continues. With tools like unsecured business funding and a variety of small business loans, the creativity and ingenuity of the American people will continue to prevail. we have accomplished this before and most certainly will again. The frame of mind of the people is the most important factor in recovery. The attitude of the lenders must give cause for hope and help the actions of the people flourish.
My parents have set the bar pretty high when it comes to immortalizing their marriage. They actually use their wedding flutes every day as a token of their unity and successful relationship. I am not professing perfection here, they have their issues like every married couple. However, they work really hard at controlling negative situations. I don't know exactly what techniques for peacemaking that they employ, but I keep telling them they should write a couples manual and spread the knowledge. My mom says what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I don't get it. They live in California.
I could take my wife to fifty weddings and at each and every one, her focus would be on the selection of wedding centerpieces as if everything else there didn't exist. First of all she is a freak for flowers. Next, if you look in out china closet, you will see the largest collection of vases you could ever imagine. Look under each vase and you will see the names of the bride and groom and the date of the wedding. If ever, I suggest moving them into storage, I am putting my life at risk. She says she'd rather put me in storage instead.
I can't say that I even remotely understand how the process works for unsecured business loans. One thing I am certain of is that the lenders have definite ways of being very sure the loans will be honored. I do know that I am interested in securing almost any type of funding I could receive. I am on the brink of bringing in a very large client who could make the future of my company almost guaranteed. I do, however, need the funding to set up what this client needs. I am hoping that if I can show a signed contract it will be enough to have me qualify for a loan.
How did we let things get so far out of hand? Didn't we have the slightest clue that our homes couldn't go up 25% a year forever? Once again the old "Head in the sand" trick didn't work. Are we really that naive? Apparently so. We are now crippled with debt and struggling to keep afloat. I guess it's true that history keeps repeating itself. There is no doubt that we are a sick nation and the ailments won't disappear on their own. We need healthy alternatives to commence the healing. Unsecured small business loans would certainly be a major step in the right direction. Don't you agree?
found it to be very curious to see a practically brand new dental practice for sale. Why would people go through the arduous trouble of setting up such an intricate operation only to turn around and sell it right away. I had no intention to buy it or even know anyone who would, but my curiosity got the best of me and I had to find out what was up. Don't ask me why I got this involved, I can't really give you a solid answer. The truth was that I was just plain being nosy. As it turned out, the dentist who was supposed to practice there was involved in a terrible auto accident and his dexterity was challenged, leaving him unable to ply his trade.
One of my favorite, yet haunting, adages is "a word to the wise is sufficient." I was the owner of a small plumbing service company about ten years ago. By small, I mean it was myself and two other plumbers. It was a successful enough to make the three of us a decent living. On many occasions, the other two made out better than I did. I decided to sell it by myself. I later learned that I gave it away and should have consulted with a broker as to its value. Yesterday, I heard that my brother was selling his dental practice so I immediately advised him to contact a professional and obtain a dental practice valuation.
To revisit an old but accurate way of relating something , I would like to put it like this, " There's software and then there's software." I have a grandmother in a senior living facility that is apparently sharper than the administrators there. They were struggling with the software they were using since they were finding themselves entering and re-entering the same data over and over again do to glitches in the program itself. Whoever wrote the software was either behind the time in the technology or simply not adept. My little old grandma informed them about Right Click and they now have the best senior living software installed in their system and are thrilled with it's performance.
I almost never see a great side by side UTV on the road, but every once in a blue moon one goes zooming by me on the highway. I have always had a passion for motorcycles but my level of fear in driving one surpassed my desire to buy one. The side by sides, on the other hand, seem to be the exact ticket for me. The balance factor I fear on a two-wheeler is eliminated with the attached side car. I think I may finally be ready to experience the wind in my hair and face for the first time in my driving life. Open road, here I come.
The first name that comes to mind in any industry is a position that every company or organization is vying to become. A strong case in point is a temperature monitoring company called FreshLoc Technologies. The most advantageous thing that could happen to any entity, whether it be business or otherwise, would to become generic in the mind of the public. In the another sense, I would recognize this as branding which has become the catch word in all types of advertising these days. You see this every day in different products like Coke or Vaseline or Corn Flakes.
I don't care who it is, just about every person who walks into a used car dealership wishes they were invisible and could browse uninterrupted. They don't want the slick haired suit with spit polished shoes breathing down their necks or tailing them throughout the lot. Believe it or not there is an outfit called Auto USA that I visited while looking at used cars in Irving, Texas that had the most professional and respectful staff of any dealer I have ever been to. In addition they offered the most uncomplicated and attractive financing ever. I couldn't believe how enjoyable the process was when I purchased my late model vehicle there last spring.
How often do you find yourself wondering whether to purchase something brand new or look into buying it used? If you really stop and investigate the pros and cons, you can see the advantage in buying used for some items and new for others. take something simple like a bicycle. Why spend $700 on a new one when you can get one a year or two old for less than half the price. Cars on the other hand seem to be a bit more risky to most people. This is one area where I differ from most. I deal with Auto USA Texas and feel better about there pristine honest dealership than I do about new card dealers. This is bold, but true.
It isn't every day that you hear people tout the satisfaction of many companies in any retail business. This is even more of a rarity when it comes to the used car industry. So, you can imagine how surprising it was when I was discussing buying a previously owned vehicle to hear superlative comments about a used car dealership in Texas. The most glaring and memorable one was when my ultra conservative mother-in -law blurted out "I definitely trust Auto USA!" This woman has a hard time trusting that the tome is accurate on her wrist watch. Her endorsement alone was more than enough to convince me where to buy.
I am really excited about picking up stakes and moving my company and family to the Big "D". I spent time in Texas while I was being schooled in pharmacy by the US Army. I grew very fond of the people and environment. Even though I was stationed in San Antonio, I got to visit the other big cities since I was there almost a full year. I vowed that I would return to the fair state some day. Now that I am moving there my wife made me promise to employ a Dallas office cleaning company or she and the children wouldn't get on the plane with me.
I am very confused about where I will be moving to. I am tired of shoveling snow and I want to escape living in the mid west and must get out of here soon before the those big white flakes start falling. Time is definitely of the essence. Tick-tock and before you know it a big nor-easter will bring in the white stuff and blanket the area. I can't decide between California and Nevada. At least I narrowed it down tom those two states. Come to think of it, the more I look at the great deals on Las Vegas condos, the more I realize my decision has been made.
If you live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and you have this awful suspicion that there may be a leak of sort in your roof, don't let the fear get the best of you. If you really want to have faith in a company that will give you an honest repair or replacement estimate look into this Dallas roofing company and put the uncertainty to rest. We are all so wary these days to deal with everything from plumbing repairs to computer repairs. This is why you should feel fortunate that you came across these people to at least know you will be treated fairly and honestly when it comes to your roof.
It seems like all my life, I have been searching for the perfect spot for retirement. I know it is rather unusual, but this has been on my mind since my early twenties. I keep imagining living in a place of beauty and style and having no lawn to cut and no roof to repair among many other annoying and troublesome tasks related to owning a home. I am now becoming excited since I am ready to retire and attempt to fulfill my dream. I even found the perfect spot. As you may have guessed, I am looking to get into one of the very luxurious Las Vegas high rise condos. What better place to enjoy the rest of my life. The city has so much to offer and I am more than willing to receive it all.
In the event you are considering to apply for a business line of credit, I feel it is my duty due to my experience with my line to inform you of what I have learned. The first time I went for such a line, my belief was to get as much as possible and fill my coffers. After accounting for the costs and the unrealistic sense of having a ton of cash at my disposal, I realized it would actually be much more prudent to have a lower figure to deal with. We are all human and having too much too soon has proven to be a disaster in many arenas, whether it be the spoiled little rich kid or the habitual shopper. Trust me and ask for less than your first instinct, build a history of serving it perfectly so when the day comes that you really need more, it will be easily available.
The new breed of small business loans is upon us. Back in a day, my small farm supply business was the recipient of the first SBA (Small Business Administration) loan issued by this bank in Van Nuys, Ca. We were basically pioneers for the area. We were so closely monitored and literally harassed by hundreds of onlookers for months. I started to wish we had never applied. The bank ordered quarterly audits which resulted in enormous accounting bill that were so dear that we could have made four monthly payments on the loan had they not been necessary. I finally convinced an SBA official that the audit fees would lead toward our missing payments and he discontinued them. I hope the new loans outside the government restraints go more smoothly.
Call it what you wish, funding, credit line, business loan or whatever. We're talking about obtaining working capital for the benefit of utilizing money to help a business thrive. Long before any of us starts any type of business, we must be aware of how and when the capital will be available to make it happen. We have to have a business plan that will spell out the hows and whys it will work. Just throwing a shingle on a door won't cut it. Businesses take time to form and need time to generate the revenue to be self sufficient much less profitable. I see all forms of financing ending up as merely being working capital.
Just when you think all is lost, up pops someone who actually is concerned with somebody's well being other than themselves. My 78 year old aunt had heard through the family grapevine that my contractors business was having financial problems. She lives on a small social security pension so I know it's not to offer me money. I figured she was just being nice and trying to console me. Boy, did I underestimate her. She practically ordered me to get on the Hawkeye Management website and look for something she called unsecured business funding. I was good nephew and did as I was told. Now i sitting here with funding to carry me through the rough spot and maybe even expand a bit.
We often tell our children that there really is no such thing as a money tree when they ask for trivial things. As we get involved in day to day business, we begin to realize that at least in a symbolic way there is a tree. This tree must be nurtured and watered or there will be no leaves. These leaves may be regarded as dollars. If you do the work, the tree grows and the leaves multiply and will bear seeds which will perpetuate more trees. And so it goes in the world of business. This is the essential theory in unsecured business loans. The lenders help you water the tree and your interest payments add to their growth. It's something similar to the circle of life.
"To each his own" is probably one of the most prolific statements we hear over and over again. The fact is that it is and always be one of the most poignant statements that will ever be made. One case in point is a mailing campaign my partner and I set out on was supposed to be a simple undertaking and wound up being a tangled mess. We got in so deep with confusion and mistakes that we thought we'd never recover. You can bet your last dollar that the next time we get a bright idea like doing something like that ourselves we will think twice, maybe three times. From here on out it's professional direct mail services for us.
There are times in one's life that bring such a deep and profound joy that you want the moment to never end. Unfortunately, they are too far and few between. The great joy experienced during these emotional gifts are some of the greatest earthly treasures we will ever receive. Such was the case recently when I witnessed this heavenly sand ceremony performed at the altar in this fairy tale like chapel during a friend's wedding. It really is beautiful to watch human beings relating on a platform of love and concern. It magnifies in my mind the terrible atrocities and horrible inflictions we are capable of wielding upon each other. How could we" Why do we?
If there is anything I look forward to when I am invited to weddings, it is the wedding cake toppers. I find it very interesting trying to figure out why the couples chose to select certain themes. I have seen a huge variety in these toppers over the past few years. It brings me to wonder what the next fad will be. Every time I think they can't come up with something new for these receptions, there it is a great new idea. It makes one realize that the impetus to create new products for any market should never be underestimated. The desire to invent is a never ending story. I guess, I'll just have to wait and see what's next.
If ever I heard an oxymoron it was last month when a colleague of mine stated that his daughter's reception hall was going to have simple wedding decorations. Boy, is he in store for a shock. I know his daughter and wife pretty well. If he thinks the decorations will be simple, there's something else that's pretty simple. Yeah, you got that right. It's him. The last time I saw simple things done at a wedding it was when the groom was carrying a club while dressed in his loin cloth. Well if it suits him to believe that it will be understated, wait until he sees the credit card bills.
When I was a child, I was always curious as to why my mother never used this very ornate and beautiful set of dinnerware that she kept displayed in our cupboard. She talked about them coming from her grandmother all the time. Finally, I asked her what the deal was. She said she was saving them for a special occasion. I replied " what could be more of a special occasion than my sister's wedding dinner?" " You didn't even use them then." She shushed me. Then one day, I got this urge to buy these personalized napkins I saw on line. They are really a work of art. They were so cool,For several months now, I just can't get myself to use them. Now I know what the deal is.
It is that time of the year when workers begin looking forward to the holidays and especially their anticipated bonuses. They are not concerned with any financial difficulties your company may be having. They want goodies and they want them soon. It would be a wise thing to be aware of in your realm of employee engagement to make them aware of as soon as possible if you can not meet their expectations. From my prospective, bad news plays out better early than late. At least they won't run out and build up debt when there will be no cash to settle it. Take a word from the wise, I have been there.
When the time finally arrives for you to establish that long awaited business you always wanted, be sure to have a plan for letting the world know you are there. If you are depending on a website to bring in revenue, have a plan for optimization. If you are opening a retail shop and you are depending on foot traffic . Do something to attract attention. Most of all, if you want positive and rapid recognition, you must develop a dialogue of personal word of mouth marketing so it can take on a life of its own and bring exposure to your business. In other words, you can't sit back and wait for the world to beat a path to you, You have to build the road.
I met an enormously interesting man three years ago while visiting a friend in south Florida. He was eighty -two years old and honestly appeared to be no more than fifty-five. His story was movie material. He came to America with less than three dollars to his name after escaping the tyranny of Nazi Germany. He witnessed his sister and mother being killed in a forest as the three of them sought refuge. Two decades later, he had become one of our nation's largest sweater manufactures and also one of our most respected art collectors and sponsor of the arts. I'm sure there was no such advantage like unsecured business funding back when he started. He said he convinced himself to work hard and to not spend money loosely until the money was not an issue.
I think I would love to make selling unsecured small business loans my life's work. It would almost like being a wedding photographer. Every day you will be setting out to add joy to someone's life. Consequently, being surrounded by happiness, take a wild guess how it would affect you. Of course, there will be the occasional rejection for the loan. The way I see it, that's what having an assistant for. Just kidding. I'm sure ther will be oodles more good times than bad, At least I truly hope so.
We are finally seeing some signs of hope for the economic recovery. With the reappearance of small business loans, it seems the eggs may be cracking and some new ideas are hatching. It really would be a fabulous time for trust and confidence to begin to replace fear and skepticism Given the right tools, America will make it happen just as we have several times before. We do however, have to be more careful on our monitoring of our manipulative money tricksters. It is apparent that there will always be those that seek gimmickry and sneaky ways to separate us from our dollars. These characters are so creative at the shell game that we must remain on our toes.
I have been wracking my brain trying to understand how our supposedly austere Security Exchange Commission could allow the Bernie Madoffs and the Mortgage mongers take us on such a downhill slope. I only pray that there were no payoffs. Although I sometimes think we'd be better off if there were. It might prove that the system wasn't that broken. We need to have guarantees that a disaster like what happened to the real estate market, never happens again. The one sign I see that attempts to show the return of faith in the people is the appearance of unsecured business lines of credit. Let's show we deserve the display of confidence.
If there were one area of change that could hasten the economic recovery, it would have to be the climate of the lenders warming up and loosening the knotted purse strings. The feeling of many people is that the people of American small businesses are tremendously creative and would definitely expand the job market if they had the capital to do so. We are beginning to hear about some of us obtaining an unsecured business line of credit. Kudos to those that are restoring their faith in the dynamic of the entrepreneurs that made this country flourish for centuries. No risk, no gain is definitely applicable here.
Who would ever think that the highlight of my summer vacation would have anything to do with bathroom renovations Vancouver. The situation presented itself when my older brother and I visited our 88 year old aunt in Canada and noticed she was upset at the condition of the guest bathroom. She wanted to have it updated for some time according to our mom. Before we got there we secretly ordered some materials and had them delivered to her friendly neighbor. We had our mom take our aunt on a three day excursion in BC and went to work. The look on her face when she was returned and saw the renovation was just about the biggest reward we could ever want for our efforts.
When i read about the jobs situation I go back in my mind and realize the significance of the meaning of the word "million." We toss it around like it's a baseball or football score. The hard truth is that these numbers are devastating for a nation as proud and productive as ours. I don't care if the job is sweeping a garage or generator testing, there must be some way people can find to put food on the table and keep the roof over their heads. It sickens me with fear and disgust that we have come so far and yet are subject to the greed and avarice of those sub-human pigs who pushed us into this abyss with no respect or concern other than their personal gain. You know who I'm talking about.
Has anyone stopped to consider what effect the advent of electric cars will have on the job market. With government regulations forcing higher and higher fuel efficiency on auto manufacturers, we will certainly be seeing more and more battery powered vehicles. So, what do we do with the couple of million mechanics that are working today? They will have to be retrained in jobs like EV testing and whatever these new technologies require. I don't see this as being a readily viable option. I fear will see another rise in unemployment and yet another dilemma for our nation. Surely there are immense benefits to electric cars, but it wouldn't hurt to manage the transition wisely.
It seems the wave or the trend is to shop for just about anything on line these days. You can look for everything from nylon stockings to unsecured business lines of credit. The brick and mortar days are quickly disappearing. I don't know what's growing faster, the online sales or the delivery services. Pretty soon we will be entering the Yule season and I'm wondering if the retailers that are on line will be playing carols like the department stores always do. There certainly will be a big void in our lives when the buildings close up. Even though we complain about the snow, the traffic, the parking and the hordes, My guess is we'll miss it all terribly.
Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you.......... Believe it or not, some lending institutions are doling out an unsecured business line of credit every day to some very fortunate people. I'm not too sure if you must be donned in a white robe and sandals or simply taking a stroll across your local pond to qualify for this tool. My guess is you'd better be squeaky clean before you even think about it. It's not every day that you come upon easy money. Usually you have to pledge at least your first born to secure a loan of any kind these days. I see no harm in looking into this product. Just don't get you hopes up too high.
There are so many things going on in the world each and every day. We are totally oblivious to most of them because we walk around with our thoughts focused on only what we think has an immediate effect on us.The hot dog vendor on a corner of Manhattan is concerned with how many dogs he will move. The cab drive in Toledo is trying to estimate his tip. When was the last time you were wondering about the roof on a building? The guy working for a Dallas roofing company notices them all the time. The point is that we all are, each and every one of us, guilty of having special interests.
After high school, I thought I was the sharpest knife in the drawer. I figured, why waste my time going to or even trying to get into college. I had all these super duper ideas to market all kinds of things and make my fortune by 25 instead of 65. Well as reality would have it, here I am with my shoes shined, my tie straight and enough cologne to fill a small fuel tank. Yep! I am questing my status in that drawer. I am selling used cars in Arlington Texas. I do however attend night classes ans intend to build that fortune no matter how long it takes.
Take a deep breath....while you can. If the manufacturer's of this world don't drop the greed and start cleaning op their acts, we are in for hell on earth. They can't go on being driven by profit alone. They must come to the realization that nature's clock is ticking and time is quickly running out. If they don't do something at least similar to the green printing effort by Metro Fine Printers, we will all be cooked. It really isn't that shocking that they chose to ignore the warning signs. After all billions of cigarettes are sold and smoked every day. In addition, hundreds of million of gallons of alcohol are also consumed with or without the awareness of the damage being done.
Here we are at my nephew's wedding. The long awaited time has come (he's pushing forty). The right woman finally got him to the altar. It just so happens that I lost a wager with my wife. I would have bet anything that this day would never come. Win some. Lose some. In an attempt to recoup my losses, I bet her that my nephew would act exremely conservative and float through the evening practically unnoticed and the affair would prove to be a bit blaze'. As it turned out, I was about to double my losses when I took a gander of of the cake. He selected one of the wedding cake toppers that humorously depicted his bride lassoing him and dragging him to the nuptials. The attendees at the event took the lead and it became a raucous party.
These days it seems like every party you go to is entered in a competiton to outdo the last one. There is a vehement effort to shine. I thought the eighties was the ME decade. I am not saying it is wrong or even harmful to want to be different. I am saying don't carry it too far. Case in point is the last wedding celebration I attended was a bit of a shock. The happy (weird) couple had the presence of mind to have themselves represented on their personalized napkins in a very provocative scene. It actually caused some relatives to leave a lot earlier than they should have.
Twelve years ago, I had the great pleasure of giving away my niece on a beautiful beach in Southern California. The setting could not have been more romantic. Mother Nature presented us with a glorious balmy evening which allowed the sand ceremony to be beyond perfect. It was one of those memorable enchanting moments in life that makes all the trials and tribulations seem tiny in comparison. It got me to thinking that my upcoming 40th wedding anniversary would be wonderful to celebrate on that same beach. I will ask Mother Nature to repeat her performance.
I had this great idea for my daughter's wedding decorations. She was always a huge fan of the Smurfs when she was little. I have a friend who works on the back lot of a major movie studio. He was familiar with my daughter's love of the little blue people. He said he had permission as well as access to some of the costumes andsets from a cancelled production of a Smurf adventure with live actors. I got all excited and was positive she would love the theme. NOT! I guess I'll always see her as that little freckled tot that was so enamored by her cartoon friends. I'll have to get used to her being a mature woman.
Taqlk about a double edged sword. In my career as a small business owner, I made the fatal mistake of putting all my employees needs before the companies needs. That's right, companies. I committed this error more than once. You see, employee engagement can be a tremendous asset, when it's not overdone. On numerous occasions, I actually did too much for some which angered others and in the long run hurt the business as a result. In addition, I overpaid and over benefitted my staff creating unecessary financial hardships. I still don't think I have learned my lesson.
The games have begun and the pace is torrid. There seemingly is no stopping the great minds of out time in unlocking the many, many secrets of stem sells. From embryionic stem cells to colony forming assay, the doors are opening. Each day brings new ideas, new discoveries and certainly new hope to the world of medical science. This in turn is creating tremendous hope for the extention and increased quality of all our lives. These new weapons against disease and tragic dismembering maladies is just what the doctor ordered(no pun intended).
Being the layman that I am, it is difficult for me to not visualize the resemblance of a Roman legion when I hear or read about the colony forming units in the field of stem cell research. Where and how in the world things like this are imagined much less produced simply boggles my mind. Does someone wake in the morning after experiencing devine intervention? Is there a special cahnnel to this kind of knowledge? What more proof do we need that there is indeed a devine being spurring on these types of thoughts in these types of people?
I often think about what the death toll would be if it weren't for the ability to work with regulatory T cells in the fight against HIV and AIDS. I remember the focus on T cells during the terrible news about my favorite cager, Magic Johnson. I was nearly as devastated as his family. Rarely do you come upon such a genuine and perfect role model of a professional sport. Since then, I am thrilled to see how well he has controlled his condition. This holds true for thousands of those infected. It makes me shake my head in disbelief that there are so many against the miracle of stem cell research.
My niece is one of those children that instantly causes you to have an inferiority complex. She is the typical pig-tailed 11 year old with black rimmed eyeglasses that you might see in a G rated Disney movie. She is rarely without some kind of text book in her possession. Just last week she was attempting to educate me and my wife on the use of mouse embryonic stem cells. After the first 8 words, she lost my attention. My wife, on the other hand, exhibited a rather profound level of interest. Consequently, I really feel like the town idiot for sure.
I am becoming increasingly doubtful about my mental capabilities. Every day something occurs that raises my doubt. Take last Tuesday. My 9 year old daughter had a homework assignment that involved human embryonic stem cells. It immediately provoked me to contact her school principal and inquire about the sanity of her science teacher. She told me that Mr. Sanderson was very highly respected and regarded as one of the school's finest. I mean, spelling out these cell descriptions would have been a monumental task for me at 9, much less comprehending their meaning. I may have to go back to school.
The one thing in science that I feel is captivating all of our minds is stem cell functioning. How many of the things we are being told have a realistic chance of coming to being? Where are all of these procedures in terms of practical and clinical viability? I hear about pluripotent stem cells and embryonic stem cells working in harmony and quite frankly, I'm lost. Hopefully, there will come a time when someone presents the up to the moment scoreboard on these procedures and we can have a chance at understanding what's happening.
The closest I ever came to appearing like a research scientist is when I ignited my sister's bunson burner for her in chem-lab 101. The funny thing is that she was fearful of the task and I jumped in and volunteered to do it. I almost set the lab on fire by turning the gas up too high and it produced what sounded like a sonic boom. After being escorted out of the lab, I left my science career behind. So now, when I read about things like mesenchymal stem cells, I am totally at sea. My sister, on the other hand, is working in a research lab and I couldn't be more proud of her.
The time is approaching quickly for all of us to acquire some sort of an understanding of what is occurring in the world of stem cell culture. This field of medical science will certainly impact medicine as we know it. It has the potential to alter everything we have ever known about the treatment of hundreds of maladies. As we all know, time has its way of slipping on by. Before we know it this technology will become standardized and a regular curriculum in our medical schools. It has far too much potential to be surpressed by any faction.
Here we go. We are back. Grab on to the hand rail and secure your seatbelt. This economy is about to take flight. We will soar into the stratosphere. We are bound for the heavens. Now, tell the truth. That's what we all like to hear. That in my mind is pure enthusiasm and optimism. The funny part is it could all work if we stay on a constructive faithful path. For one, I really am stoked about the advent of the small business loans that are entering the scene. This is a pure sign of confidence in the American people. Hopefully many financial institutions will follow the lead and run with it.
We will not see the light of day or the light at the end of the tunnel of this prolonged recession until we join forces and show faith and trust in each other. Big business certainly depends on consumer spending as does small business. If efforts are developed to support eah other, the odds of success could reach exponential numbers if banks make unsecured business loans more readily accessible, the spark in the economy could grow into a fiery expansion of spending. Just taxing the poor or the rich will only stymie the recovery, if not deepen the crisis. One nation under God means something to many of us. Let's get togrther.
Whether you nominate them unsecured business loans or credit lines, they are forms of unsecured business funding. Perhaps the most critical word in these times of attempted recovery, funding is enormously key. The quickest way to stymie any movement, whether it be a military campaign or consruction project is to cut off the water supply. Funding for business is the water supply for growth and stability. Money is expressed in many terms but it is money that is the stimulous for every function in this nation. Money is the essential in any economy, or there is no economy. Funny thing is we all know we will prevail. Why don't we accept it and move on?
Every industry has its gems. Believe it or not there are actually gems in the financial ranks. I'm not saying there is a plethera of them. I am, however, aware of a particular company that has found the benefit in being beneficial. I'm talking about Hawkeye Management, a firm second to none when it comes to coming through with unsecured business loans and lines of credit. If you are seeking expeditious and deeply concerned people to perform for you, you just found them. I am not one pointed enough to say they are the only worthwhile outfit out there. I am saying they are the very best that i know of.
One of the more difficult genres of business to sell is those of professional services. For example, if you need to advertise a dental practice for sale, you certainly can't just dream up a number and place a sign on the door. You will require a truly proficient and reputable broker to execute this intricate a transaction. NAPB are definitely a wise choice if you were to use them. It isn't as if you have an inventory of products you are selling or for that matter, you are selling more good will and community presence than any commodity.
One of the more difficult areas of pricing a business for sale is that of all professional operations that can not be evaluated by inventory or hard assets. It takes precise knowledge of the emotional and goodwill factors to come anywhere near close to estimating these values/ Take dental practice valuation for example. Its value is far more dependent on the patient list's factors. There are age factors, location factors and things like referrals to other family members. The list goes on and on. Obviously it takes a highly proficient company to be able to realistically come up with the right price for the seller as well as the buyer.
For my entire life I have been the world's biggest coward when it came to two-wheel vehicles. I feared everything from scooters to motorcycles. Four wheels or nothing, that was my motto. Then I saw these new three-wheel vehicles and thought "maybe." Even better yet was when I came across the side by side UTV at this place called Bennche. I finally feel that I can drive something other than a car or truck. It is great to experience that outdoorsy ride that I didn't realize I was missing. The feeling is ever so rewarding. Thank you Bennche.
Six months ago, My wife and I set out on a very unpleasant venture which required our finding a senior facility for her mom. We had her living with us for 12 years. Unfortunately her medical needs became too much for our capabilities. At the request of her physician we decided to get her to a place better able to treat her. After looking at several places, the deciding factor was to place her where they had senior living software. This software proved to us that it freed the time of the attendants allowing them to take better personal care of her mom. We feel happy and secure with our choice.
I was at a family dinner about three years ago when a young man who was dating my niece went on and on about this new product he had designed as a cell phone app. I am not exactly the technical type, but I was certain that the app he was so excited about had already been on the market. I tried to change the subject by discussing Freshloc Technologies and the products they have for remote control of temperatures etc. It didn't work. He repeatedly went on about how his remote security app would take take the world by storm. NOT! A week later his dream was obliterated by my niece showing him the already existing app on her own cell phone.
For the longest time, I have been wanting to test the waters in the Lone Star State. Recently a job opening presented itself to me. They want me to manage a distribution center for farm equipment in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. The proposition includes a three month trial period so as to offer both sides the option of a permanent decision. I accepted the offer and chose to not take my car along. I was recommended to go to Auto USA Texas to buy a later model used car to use while there. The company said they would take over the vehicle should I chose to not stay in their employ or if their decision to keep me on was negative. In the event I stayed, I would need the extra vehicle since my daughter was about to becme of age to drive.
I am a bit apprehensive about my decision to pick up stakes and move my family to the Big "D". I have been intrigued by the great state of Texas for some time and have been anticipating living there for some time. Auto USA has offered me a position as a sales manager and the decision to take it has been a teetering thought at best. Now that I made up my mind to go there, I am literally shaking in my boots. The wife and kids are stoked. My two sons are devout America's team fans and can't wait to get there. They became Cowboy fans watching the team practice in Thousand Oaks , Ca. for years. I, on the other hand, am a die-hard Jets fan.
There are many seemingly mundane items in the business world that are frequently underestimated in importance. The maintenance of the work place is at least ten times as vital as the attention afforded it. I can't speak for everyone, but I definitely know I will not do business with a firm that has a pig sty for an office. This brings to mind the recent referral of a Dallas office cleaning company called Valor I gave to a friend was definitely appreciated. Would you have your vehicle detailed by someone who showed up in a filthy clunker? I didn't think so. I have a friend whose real estate office looks like a tornado torn library. I have literally seen people walk in and turn around and walk out in a matter of seconds.
My work experience for my entire life has been operating a telemarketing call center for the distribution of farm supplies that ranged from hoses and valves to rodenticides. This experience and a token will get me a ride on public transit. Looking for a job has become as difficult as finding an honest politician. The only prospect I have is a janitorial services Dallas job that doesn't pay any where near what I need to survive. On the other hand, half of what I need is certainly better than none of what I need. The one pleasant surprise is that the cost of living is a lot less in the Dallas area than where I came from in Southern California.
I must tell you that the picture being painted regarding the supposed economic recovery is about as accurate as the end of the world predictions. I was looking for a job, any job, for 14 months before I found one selling used cars in Irving Texas. Since the job is strictly commission, I have become the world's leading authority in cereal shopping. So please, if you happen to be in the vicinity of Irving and you are in need of a new ride, stop in and see me. I actually have a couple of Cowboy tickets for my next customer. I have to give them to someone, since I am a devout Giants fan.
I have been combing the nation looking for a decent job. I made up my mind to accept anyhing that provided a reasonable living wage. It brought to mind how I saw the world of labor when I was a kid. I remember thinking that the guys standing on the back of a gruesome looking hot tar truck appeared to be in captivity or Hades itself. I envisioned them with their trowels and mops climbing on to precariously slanted roofs and breathing in those ominous fumes. In reflection, I asked myself if I would go so far as to take on that type od a job. I told myself a resounding "NO!" Then I saw this Dallas roofing company with a totally different approach to the trade. Now here I am, tiles in hand.
Move over Leonardo and Kate. The top of the world will soon be my spot, not yours. As soon as the numbers (my checking account) make sense, I'm on my way to purchase one of the incredible Las Vegas high rise condos offered by Turnberry Towers. I will do my utmost to get on the highest floor possible. Imagine waking each morning and opening your drapes to view the world's most exciting city. Better yet, how about sipping a glass of wine while leaning on your balcony rail overlooking the vibrant neon lights in the evening. Who ever said there is no Heaven on Earth?
We all have at least one very special privilege that no power on Earth can take from us. That gift is the ability to dream. The virtues of hope and desire are two significantly human conditions that will survive just about anything. On the top of my dream list is the chance to own and occupy one of the fabulous Las Vegas condos that overlook the excitement and livelyness of Sin City. I can visualize the world of neon and glitz whenever I choose to close my eyes and do so. The gorgeous Turnberry Towers totally fit the bill for my dreamscape.
Brother, brother, wherefore were art thou in the 1970's when my little distribution company so desperately need you? I wound up getting a SBA (small business admin loan) that nearly destroyed my financial being. At one point the interest rste reached a soaring 27.75%. I walked around with the old 800 pound gorilla on my back. If the unsecured business lines of credit were around back then at today's rates I would have had a parakeet on my shoulder instead. I do however have the adversity to thank for forcing me to make positive changes in my business to not only stay afloat but actually grow.
The last time I had been involved with adding a room to a house, I was a child in awe of how my parent's home in BC turned out after the Vancouver renovations thay had done. Let me say that the experience ruined me for life. Now that I live in the State, I am very skeptical about ever seeing any craftsmanship come up to snuff with these artisans. Believe it or not, this plays a large part in why I have always elected to reside in rental peoperties as opposed to owning my own home. I never alluded to the fact that I wasn't a bit strange.
Back in the 50's, my hometown relied on all kinds of transportaion for our economic survival. Approximately 85% of the jobs in the community were freight related. We had railroads, shipyards and trucking occupying half the acreage in the city. As kids we looked at going to truck driving schools like they were upper education facitlities. College seemed like a distant goal until the mid 60's. It was funny how the entire mind set of the people was so restricted. The only other areas I witnessed thinnking like this were in the coal mining belts.
BIG D my oh yes!! After having spent more than a few summer days in the fair city, it is absolutely imperative to have Dallas air conditioning. I can't imagine existing there or for that matter anywhere without the life saving AC. To think that a few decades ago only the Ewing type families had the luxury of the cooling refresher. I also remember a 98 degree Christmas day in good old San Antonio. The Lone Star State sure has its sweltering moments. All that being said, it's a great place to live and work among the real people of this nation. Viva La Sam Houston!
All I hear over and over again is how difficult it is to obtain any kind of loan or financing. Sure, if you have an 800 credit score, this doesn't really apply. If you are like many of us that don't belong to that elite club, you must join in the hunt. I can say that if your live in within proximity of Midland, Texas and you are seeking one of the Midland Texas auto loans, you have just stumbled upon a great resource. MY Community Federal Credit Union can do as much for you and more than any other institution I can think of.
Are you the type to run to the search engines to inform you about the quality of a restaurant or a movie or anything for that matter? I used to be. Not being the quickest study or sharpest tool in the shed, it took me far too long to figure out there could possibly be special interests involved in the results of these searches. I do, however, maintain my belief in personal word of mouth marketing. If I ask a friend what he or she experienced at a certain restaurant with regards to food, service and ambience, the response goes a far longer way in in gaining my confidence than some blurb or article on the web.
If for any reason you are entertaining moving your business to Dallas Texas, I have a little secret that could possibly save you a bunch of time and money. It may not seem like a big deal for some, but for me the perfect janitorial services Dallas are essential. Nothing impresses prospective customers like a sparkling clean and orderly place of business. You can offer impeccable services or products to people, but if your office appears to be in disarray, they would lose the necessary confidence in moving forward. The little but big secret is Valor Janitorial. You can't go wrong.
My cousin called and told me he had a position with a Dallas janitorial services company. It just blew my mind. When he called and told me he was involved with a janitorial outfit, I assumed the guy was down and out and lost his license to practice medicine. I thought he made some terrible mistake and lost his license to practice medicine. I feared that all those years of college and med school went down the drain. As it turned out, he had the CEO of the company as a patient and they became close friends. When one of the board members retired, my cousin got appointed to his seat. I forgot that he also had an MBA in business.
The closest I have have come to conducting a scientific experiment was when I was in vibration testing contest. I was eleven and my thirteen year old cousin said he could make atuning fork vibrate twice as long as I could. I took him up on the challenge and raided my piggy bank to make it interesting. The rules were simple. One bang on the fork stand it up on a surface and count the seconds. He whacked it on the table and it hummed for one minute and thirty-two seconds. When it was totally still, I whacked in on the same table but put on my upturned volume TV top and it might still be humming.
I have a very close friend that has been part of my life since the age of three. He grew up in a tenement building just as I had. His humble beginnings could in no way predict the great finacial success the future held in store for him. He and his, not only, lovely but warmly loving wife decided that after all of their charitable paricipations that they would create a home that reflected their love of the arts. The house was so huge that it required they do a power system analysis before commencing construction. I sit here in pure excitement because I recently received an invitation for the grand opening and home warming.
If you haven't traveled to the great province of BC in the past decade or so, you are definitely missing out on a lifetime of memories. This area is rife with natural and architectural beauty not often seen anywhere else. From the magnificent mountains, lakes and shores to the sophisticated and warm Vancouver home design, you are in for a fabulous treat. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not miss the experience of Buchart Gardens in Victoria. The citizens' personas rival the region's magnificence. I may have just talked myself into moving there.
In the early days of "phone sales" it was practically automatic that sharp- tounged solicitors would cold call every thing from homes to Fortune 500 companies to push their wares. Fortunately for the public at large, this industry has evolved to a more reputable and sophisticated stage known now as "b2b telemarketing." When you hire them on to procure sales for your operation, they extensively train each individual agent to represent you in the utmost professional way. Their use of market knowledge and demographics prove to be a tremendously successful addition to your marketing needs.
It was pretty funny that when I first heard the term "green printing" I thought it was referring to ST. Patrick's day. I figured it went right along with green beer and Erin Go Bragh! I was however, pleased to find out that there was a company out there that actually cared enough about the environment to take the action that they they did. For someone to convert their entire operation to being non toxic was no small feat. This is particularly amazing since it was a printing business thet did this. My big green hat goes off to them.
I don't mean to come across as narrow minded or overly one-pointed but my life has been so dominated by supporting the arts that I am beginning to question my very own existence. Our family has been having Vancouver renovations done on our home in BC and all I keep being concerned about is the work being done at the Art center. My daughter can't believe that a person as picky as myself isn't hovering over the contractors at home in lieu of all the hours I spend at the center. I must admit that she has a more than valid point.
When I heard a nurse at my uncle's bedside discussing the way the hospital has such pinpoint control over the temperature for so many different areas, I was impressed. It seems that they have implemented a system from FreshLoc Technologies that uses a state of the art monitoring system to remotely control every area. She went on to explain that they do this with wireless sensors and sevice all types of clients from meat lockers to hotels. I was floored when she said that they now control over ten million thermostats simultaneously. Can you imagine?
Keep a watch out for everything and anything receiving some software to be improved. For example, it never occurred to me that there was so much room for improvement in the area of senior care and senior living software. It wasn't until I came upon Right Click, while visiting my great aunt at her senior residence community, that I realized how much more their software could do when it came to organizing the many responsibilities at these senior care facilities. I am now trying to think of what the next area of surprise will be when it comes to enhancing a software program.
As in every field of endeavor, whether it be the manufacturing of buttons or jet planes, evolution of the product occurs. Such is the case when it comes to Bennche's Hisun line of utility vehicles. We certainly may have learned by now through our exposure from technological advances that new is more than likely better. Creative and knowledgeable people will always find a better mouse trap. From a golf cart to a side by side UTV, you can rely on the dynamic evolution of the innovative thinking inherent in the people at Bennche. Remember, there was a time when no had heard of many of the top brands that exist today.
It may be hard to believe but there is a Dallas office cleaning company that actually has a classroom curriculum to train and teach their cleaning staff. Imagine taking that level of professional efficiency for janitorial serves. I was truly impressed to hear about them. If any of you are considering a change in services of this type or even if you are opening a brand new offie, Valor Janitorial is the place to go. There is nothing like having a bright clean environment to work in. Your own staff will actually be more productive in a clean and healthier workplace.
I was really getting frustrated with the office cleaning people in my building. Being a tenant, I didn't have the authority to fire them. After struggling with their ignoring all of my requests for three months, I finally went to the owners of the building and gave an ultimatum of my leaving if I couldn't get a different service. I looked on line for janitorial service Dallas and discovered wonderful comments about a company called Valor. I passed it on to the owners. They have been thanking me ever since. It feels like a brand new environment to work in since they took over.
For years upon years, I was in the habit of buying a new car 2-3 times in a decade. Each and every time I got upset when I was told the trade in value of the older vehicle. One day I decided to look for used cars in Irving, while visiting an old friend. I stumbled upon Auto Usa and ended up with the best vehicle purchase I had ever made. They stock cars that range from 5 years old and newer. I finally allowed someone else to take the depreciation and got a car that looked like it just came off the production line. I sprayed the interior with "New Car Smell" and drove off a happy guy.
If you happen to live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and are thinking about purchasing an automobile, be sure to stop by Auto USA Texas. It's amazing how much money you can save by buying an auto that's practically brand new but may be a couple of years old. Look at it this way, all the kinks and minor service problems are probably taken care of and with the thousands of dollars savings, you'll be far ahead of the game. Also don't fear financing, these guys can work miracles, no matter what you might think about your credit.
I was travelling cross country in my old '72 clunker when I rememberd my father-in-law mentioning that he bought a used car in Texas a few years ago from a place called Auto USA. He said he was skeptical because he was working there temporarily and wouldn't be able to bring it back there if anything happened to it. It turned out that they were the easiest people in the world to deal with. He also said the same car would have cost two thousand more if he had purchased it in California. What else is new? I went ahead and bought a car there myself and six months later I am glad I did.
Viva! Viva! Las Vegas! I would be willing to bet that the incredible Elvis had Turnberry Towers Las Vegas condos in mind when be belted out this famous song. This place makes you feel like you're entering your very own palace, each and every time you step into the elegant lobby and any of the endless venues of entertainment or exercise. The perfect ambience permeates your being the moment you float through the entrance. Amazingly, you can now purchase a unit there for up to an an astounding 55% less than four years ago. What in the world are you waiting for?
If ever there were a difficult period to go through in life, it is losing your home. This is certainly not the time anyone should be exposed to the long drawn out process of a short sale. My Fast Home Buyers, Inc. is a reliable and unquestionably trustworthy firm that offers rapid and efficient short sale assistance. They have the experience and know-how to deal with banks and all lenders. They respond within twenty four hours of your call and have been through just about every conceivable scenario and circumstance. They could possibly reduce the time of the process by months.
Four years ago I was on my annual trip to Sin City and walking around with my usuual dream of moving my entire family there with all of us living in and owning Las Vegas high rise condos. My brother with his wife and kids and my wife and kids. I pictured the casinos, the buffets and the endless available entertainment venues being at our beck and call. The place I desperately wanted to buy at was the outrageous Turnberry Towers, but I was priced out. Then circumstances prevented me from taking this trip for the next three years. Finally, I got to go this year and to my extreme surprise and pleasure, the prices dropped over 50% on the units I was interested in. Las Vegas here I come.
Years ago, one would drive around his or her neighborhood in search of someone getting a new roof or roof repair to find a contractor. Unfortunately the best way to find one was to follow the horrific odor of heated tar. Then you had to experience the unsightly steaming bucket and filthy truck transporting it. Today you are lucky to have people like JNT Developers who perform Dallas roofing with state of the art materials and techniques that resmble a beauty treatment for your home as opposed to witnessing an assault on it.
If you ever want to meet a person who is absolutely a neat freak, you must meet my cousin. He has been married twice and both times, he has driven his wives crazy with organization. He invited us over to their home while we were on a visit on the east coast. His house was absolutely perfect right from the ride up the clean and immaculate driveway into their home. The home was so well appointed and everything whispered, I took great pains to make sure it looked just like this. I was totally impressed. But, when he showed us the kitchen, I really went crazy. I couldn't help myself, I started laughing so hard, I had tears coming out of my eyes and my tummy hurt. He had so many ways of being organized that were truly so artistic and creative. He had spice racks for just those spices that he used all the time. Then he had a wall spice rack with just herbs, most of them which he prided in saying, "those are from our garden and we dried them out ourselves." He really knew how to give you the feeling that he was so in control of his life just by looking at his kitchen spice racks. The visit was truly warm and wonderful.
When I got home, I opened my pantry, looked at my spices in all the different containers, jars and bottles and decided to get my life in order too. So, I bought myself some wonderful kitchen spice racks at spiceracksource.com. They have a marvelous display that makes it fun in selecting from their wide variety. It was pretty inspiring. Funny how doing a little thing like this can make you feel so great. It was a little piece of the puzzle put in place. My life on track has started and I'm in control. What a joy! I now love opening the pantry and seeing everything so organized. I love cooking and finding all of my spices so easily. Makes me feel like I should - wonderful!
I don't know about you but when I was about 18 years old, I remember people discussing personal loans. The deal seemed to always hinge on whether or not you had collateral to back up the amount you wanted to borrow. It appeared that if you had means you could borrow. If you needed means, you couldn't borrow. I didn't come across the antithesis to this enigma until my forties when I heard about unsecured start up business loans I thought to myself "now your talking." I immediately applied for one and got turned down. I can't tell you how dismayed I was. I later learned that had I gone with a loan broker like Hawkeye Management, I more than likely would have secured a loan. Live and learn certainly applies here.
If what my son-in-law tells me is accurate, I have a good chance of getting an unsecured business line of credit from a lender that is right here in my home town. It couldn't have come at a better time. I think if I got any kind of a loan a year or two ago, the interest rate probably would have buried me. Now that rates are more and more reasonable, I really have a chance of making this little distribution business of mine work. It must be a sign that the econmy is improving. I don't think the lenders want to get caught up in the havoc loose credit caused just a short time ago.
These days it always seems like no matter what product you are looking for, the choices are endless. I needed a scope mount for my rifle and never expected to have the selection to be so intricate and so plentiful. It is a bit of an annoyance at first but when you realize how important and proficient the subtle changes are, you appreciate the options. It reminds me of the folk tale out of the Ukraine. The woman walks into the butcher and the clerk behind the counter asks " Do you want the sausage or the sausage?" I guess we should be thankful for the competitive nature of capitalism.
I am not convinced that unsecured business loans are the answer to the acceleration of our economic recovery. What if they get out of hand in a way similar to the cavalier way home loans were given out? It could possibly lead to a deepening of the recession, if not a depression. I am not saying they wouldn't be very helpful to the deserving businesses. I am simply saying that caution is advised. If they are going to help, they must be much better administrated than the home loans were. Properly handled, they can be extremely constructive and create millions of jobs. I say we try them, but we watch them very, very carefully. May a word to the wise be sufficient.
I thought for certain I had an ample amount of wax to be removed from my ears. I could have sworn I heard someone say that banks were actually offering unsecured business lines of credt. Of course, I must have been mistaken. Just to verify I was wrong, I called a friend that listens to the same radio station and asked what he heard. Awe and shock set in when he stated that I heard right. Some of the big banks were taking the initiative and going out on a limb offering such things. He did, however, advise that I consult with a loan brokerage house to assist in any applications I might have in mind.
Five years ago I was involved with a marketing company based in Las Vegas. I had to attend several meetings over a four day span. The meetings took up only a portion of the days hours. I decided to venture off and sample the daily lifestyle there as opposed to becoming a casino rat. They were building this very promisng project called Turnberry Towers. I became thoroughly intrigued by how they would turn out. I almost made a pre-completion offer on one of the units. Since then, condos in Las Vegas have come down somewhat in value. I guess I might have lost a bit of equity back then. Nonetheless, I am ready now to go forward with an offer on one of these spectacular residents.
After visiting The Turnberry Towers last fall. I simply can not rest until I bring my family there to see if they reach the same level of excitement I experienced from them. The real estate recession has made these masterpiece residents come within my economic range of affordability. To tell the truth, the pricing makes me feel like I could steal one of these beautiful Las Vegas luxury Condos. My wife and kids tell me I am becoming annoying with my rambling on about them. I finally got them to agree to join me on a return trip to the Towers. I am totally confident they will succumb to the allure, just as I did.
Being a somewhat less than industrious type (maybe even lazy). At times, being less than energetic can be quite difficult. It takes a great deal of creativity to avoid the daily tasks in life. I remember when I first (and last) mowed a lawn. It was intensely excrutiating. I vowed to never do it again. I told my wife I would work the extra hours at the office to pay for a gardener. So I worked half a day every Saturday to avoid a half hour of mowing. It has always been my dream to buy one of those Las Vegas High Rise Condos so I would never face any type of yard work or roof repairs or anything remotely connected to home maintenance. After seeing the Turnberry Towers, I think I finally convinced my wife to do it.
Just as I expected, they are finding an endless number of uses for the "cloud." Companies like FreshLoc out of Dallas are now using the "cloud" for wireless temperature monitoring. Can you imagine that out there in cyberspace there is an entity incredibly and accurately monitoring the temperature in hospitals, pharmacies, restaurants and numerous other places with unsurpassed precision. They can probably cook a roast in your oven or get your bath water just so. I don't know where all of this technology will end or if it ever will.I hope I live long enough to watch them actually beam up Scotty.
I don't want to appear to be totally self serving, but I am really getting excited at the possibility of moving to Las Vegas since properties have become more affordable there. Take the magnificent 45 story Turnberry Towers. I can't believe my dream of owning one of the super luxurious Las Vegas condos can actually become a reality. My brother-in-law tried to convince my wife and me to move there while they just finished building them in 2008. I never even looked at the prices. I automatically figured they were out of my league. Now here I am packing to go there to make an offer. Life is good.
One thing I am having great difficulty with is the home values in Dallas. It seems, someone once asked "How can I sell a home fast in Dallas?" more than likely someone responded "lowball it." This is such a super city in such a great state. I don't get why you get so much cluck for your buck there. Could it be that the people are just honest and don't want to gouge each other? Or is it that the residential market was over built? All I can say is that the quality of life in Dallas is second to none and it will always remain a bit of a mystery to me why their homes are so resaonable.
Big "D" my oh, yes. That's what I'm talking about.I asked a friend, who lived in Ft. Worth, how I could sell my home fast in Dallas. He said I should tell everybody that a former Dallas Cowboy once lived there. I responded that I could never tell a lie like that. He asked what kind of lie I would tell. After a few laughs, we got serious and he told me about a ten year old real estate company called "My Fast Home Buyers,Inc." It sounded a bit cute to me. I thought he was pulling my leg. The truth is I looked into their reputaion on line and asked a bit around town about them. Sure enough, they made a great impression on many clients.
I know people buy side by sides for specific work requirements and they provide great service. I keep viewing them as a recreational vehicle. I just love their versatility and zipping around capability. I come from a part of the country where people treat their equipment like a family member. In my family, the side by sides are as important as the first born. My three brothers and two sisters and I all have one. As a matter of fact, my one brother has two. We have spent many a fun packed weekend racing and competing in all kinds of games with them.
Whether it is an ATV or a side by side UTV you are in the market for, you'll want to deal with a manufacturer that stands behind its product 100% and has a reputation for quality and selection. You especially are fortunate if you are in the great state of Texas where your best bet is Bennche. They have 24/7 on line parts ordering available and have the capability to make many of these vehicles street legal. Their range from motorcycles to UTV's offers you a vast selection to fill your specific needs.
If you are anywhere near the Dallas/Ft Worth area and you are interested in a roofing job from concrete tile to frisco roofing, you are reading the right blog. JNT is the most reputable and experienced company in the field. They have brought roofing to an art form. When I was a kid, I remember the offensive odor and disgusting appearance of the hot tar trucks that roamed the neighborhoods. They were just about the only method of repair available. The industry has since evolved to become more and more creative with a myriad of roofing options.
If you have been in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area in the last few years, you more than likely have seen at least a thousand homes and businesses that are satisfied customers of JNT Developers. They have spent many years developing the impeccable reputation they have earned in the area. In every industry, there exists a role model by which their example sets the bar for all competitors. When it comes to Dallas roofing, they are the entity by which all others are judged. It makes total sense to go go with the people who have set the standard in the event you need a new roof or simply require repairs.
One of the biggest risks a company can take in these stressful times of keeping your business afloat is security. There are so many deceptive elements out there attempting to steal whatever you have of value. Whether it be personal or business information or industry secrets that make you competitive, there is someone out there trying to pilfer it. This is why it is vital to deal with reputable people with solid track records. Valor, a company that performs Dallas janitorial services is exactly that. They are a company with impeccable integrity from the quality of their service to the respect for your intellectual properties.
While visiting the community performing arts center this week, it dawned on me that I had a solution to an age old problem they have been having. They exist more on donations than they do gate proceedings. Because of this they are always fiscally accountable to the sponsors. They put in way too many hours accounting for their stage props and costumes and all things related to creating the numbers on stage. It occurred to me that the furniture retail software used in the furnishings business would be a natural remedy for them. I immediately sent out an email to all the benefactors and we raised the funds. They have shown great appreciation to all of the patrons.
I can't believe what is going on. Every wedding you go to nowadays is like a competition to have the most ridiculous figurines atop yur cake. Whatever happened to the simple wedding cake toppers that respectfully represented the happy couple? They were either looking into each other's eyes or in a waltz movement. Now they're on motorcycles, horses, sky-diving or whatever else. I guess many old traditions are slipping away from us. It would seem that those of us that revered them and follow them must loosen the reins and face the facts. Times they are a-chang'n.
The most welcome business news I have read about in ages is the advent of green printing by a very community conscience outfit out of BC. To see people take the initiative on their own to make the world a better place for all of us is very inspiring. By sucking it up at their own expense and reducing the toxicity their processes formerly had produced, Metro Fine Printing set an example for industry world-wide to reach the level of putting humanity and the environment before the dollar. It is this kind of action that will help our planet heal.
My wife's family have had several different retail businesses. fro a local grocery store to a sophisticated furnishigs shop. They now have four different and unrelated businesses running simultaneously. I recently told them how furniture retail software would be such a big plus in lessening there work load. Also the concept of improving the efficiency of all their operations would give them some of their lives back. One of them had three sons in little league over the past decade and never attended even one game. They were thrilled that I was able to assist them in this way and now have a full time IT person overseeing all the stores.
Who would ever have thought, just a few years ago, that we would be loooking to wedding cake toppers as a source of interest whenever we were invited to a wedding? The old standard was the bride in a white gown and the groom in a tux giving their vows atop the the tiers. Now each wedding has an added dimension, since couples are being so creative with the toppers. One thing great about capitalistic countries is that innovation is ever-present. Every day, someone finds a new product and a new way to market it. People are always willing to spend on the latest trend. Newly weds are certainly no exception.
Well, well, I couldn't decide whether I was in the Bahamas or Margaritaville. From the steel band music to the salt on the rim of my glass, I was in a tropical paradise and I didn't want to catch a flight back home. The theme of those wedding decorations captured an island getaway feeling to the tee. Now that's what I call a good time. I also couldn't tell what was better, the main course or the dessert. They had all these resort type desserts in addition to the wedding cake. I thought I died and went to heaven. I had to check my pulse four or five times. Believe me, this was the best wedding I have ever attended.
I am one of those people that has a very difficult time visualizing large volume. When discussions come up involving the millions or worse billions, my head spins. A friend once asked me to estimate how many toothpicks a forty-five foot semi could carry. I stared into space for a moment and replied, "a lot." I recently was made aware of the volume of certain liquid pesticides that are around the country. I tried to visualize this gigantic tote mixer on the floor of a manufacturing plant. All I could come up with in my mind was a picture of the Wonka Chocolate Factory. You all know the scenes of the flowing chocolate and weird contraptions. What can I say? I'm probably not the only one who needs help. Am I?
I think we are finally seeing a glimmer of light at the end of the recession tunnel. When the term " unsecured business lines of credit " begins to enter converstions and tales of some small business actually getting them, I see that ray of hope. Financial institutions don't face this kind of exposure if there isn't darn good proof that they will profit by it. I'm sure due dilgence has been done in this area. If you are interested and a reasonible candidate for this instrument of finance , I advise that you seek the assistance of people like Hawkeye Management to guide your course.
Years ago, I ago I had the dream of opening my own art gallery. I was practically a starving artist and the only collateral I had for a loan was a twenty year old Chevy and twelve empty canvases. It sure would have been nice to have a company around like Hawkeye Management that could have helped with one of those fabulous unsecured business loans. Who knows how far I may have gone? I had to settle working with my dad at the furniture factory. Things did turn out alright since he and I now own four furniture outlets and we sell a few paintings from time to time.
I really like the new trend in wedding wedding cake toppers. Anytime you have the opportunity to add a touch of originality to an auspicious occassion such as a wedding, it's a fun thing to do. The last wedding I was at the cake had this pair of sumo wrestlers on top. It wasn't because the couple were obese, althought they took some ribbing for it. It was because they would be honeymooning in Japan. These kind of theme representaions are what add to the flavor of the event. I can't wait to see the next wedding cake.
