I was at a family dinner about three years ago when a young man who was dating my niece went on and on about this new product he had designed as a cell phone app. I am not exactly the technical type, but I was certain that the app he was so excited about had already been on the market. I tried to change the subject by discussing Freshloc Technologies and the products they have for remote control of temperatures etc. It didn't work. He repeatedly went on about how his remote security app would take take the world by storm. NOT! A week later his dream was obliterated by my niece showing him the already existing app on her own cell phone.
