My cousin called and told me he had a position with a Dallas janitorial services company. It just blew my mind. When he called and told me he was involved with a janitorial outfit, I assumed the guy was down and out and lost his license to practice medicine. I thought he made some terrible mistake and lost his license to practice medicine. I feared that all those years of college and med school went down the drain. As it turned out, he had the CEO of the company as a patient and they became close friends. When one of the board members retired, my cousin got appointed to his seat. I forgot that he also had an MBA in business.

Vibration Testing

The closest I have have come to conducting a scientific experiment was when I was in  vibration testing contest. I was eleven and my thirteen year old cousin said he could make atuning fork vibrate twice as long as I could. I took him up on the challenge and raided my piggy bank to make it interesting. The rules were simple. One bang on the fork stand it up on a surface and count the seconds. He whacked it on the table and it hummed for one minute and thirty-two seconds. When it was totally still, I whacked in on the same table but put on my upturned volume TV top and it might still be humming.

Power System Analysis

I have a very close friend that has been part of my life since the age of three. He grew up in a tenement building just as I had. His humble beginnings could in no way predict the great finacial success the future held in store for him. He and his, not only, lovely but warmly loving wife decided that after all of their charitable paricipations that they would create a home that reflected their love of the arts. The house was so huge that it required they do a power system analysis before commencing construction. I sit here in pure excitement because I recently received an invitation for the grand opening and home warming.

If you haven't traveled to the great province of BC in the past decade or so, you are definitely missing out on a lifetime of memories. This area is rife with natural and architectural beauty not often seen anywhere else. From the magnificent mountains, lakes and shores to the sophisticated and warm Vancouver home design, you are in for a fabulous treat. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not miss the experience of Buchart Gardens in Victoria. The citizens' personas rival the region's magnificence. I may have just talked myself into moving there.

B2B Telemarketing

In the early days of "phone sales" it was practically automatic that sharp- tounged solicitors would cold call every thing from homes to Fortune 500 companies to push their wares. Fortunately for the public at large, this industry has evolved to a more reputable and sophisticated stage known now as "b2b telemarketing." When you hire them on to procure sales for your operation, they extensively train each individual agent to represent you in the utmost professional way. Their use of market knowledge and demographics prove to be a tremendously successful addition to your marketing needs.

Green Printing

It was pretty funny that when I first heard the term "green printing" I thought it was referring to ST. Patrick's day. I figured it went right along with green beer and Erin Go Bragh! I was however, pleased to find out that there was a company out there that actually cared enough about the environment to take the action that they they did. For someone to convert their entire operation to being non toxic was no small feat. This is particularly amazing since it was a printing business thet did this. My big green hat goes off to them.

Vancouver Renovations

I don't mean to come across as narrow minded or overly one-pointed but my life has been so dominated by supporting the arts that I am beginning to question my very own existence. Our family has been having Vancouver renovations done on our home in BC and all I keep being concerned about is the work being done at the Art center. My daughter can't believe that a person as picky as myself isn't hovering over the contractors at home in lieu of all the hours I spend at the center. I must admit that she has a more than valid point.
