Is it true, what they used to say about small business loans? I sort of think about my father's SBA loan back in the seventies. I think it was such an ordeal that he had to promise his vital organs as collateral to support the loan. I once heard him use the term first born, while filling out the application. Since I was the first born, I had to ask why he said that. He said he was promising the bank everything but his first born. I was relieved. My mom said she was against his borrowing for what she thought was a risky business. Miracle of all miracles occurred when he was right and the business succeeded.
